The Haptic Luxury Experience
In a crowded market, the “Feel” of a product is a powerful brand differentiator. Our Soft-Touch technology transforms cold plastic into a warm, velvety surface that communicates premium quality instantly.

Why Tactile Packaging Matters?
Neuromarketing studies show that consumers are 40% more likely to purchase a product they have held. Soft-touch finishes increase the “perceived value” and encourage physical interaction.
Matte Elegance
High-gloss plastics can look cheap and reflective. Our Soft-Touch finish absorbs light, creating a deep, saturated color profile that looks sophisticated on the shelf.
Non-Slip Safety
For shower products (Shampoo/Body Wash), grip is a safety feature. Soft-touch coatings increase the coefficient of friction, preventing wet bottles from slipping.
Scratch Self-Healing
Unlike glossy PET which highlights every fingerprint and micro-scratch, rubberized coatings have elastic properties that can “heal” minor abrasions.
Technology I: Rubber Paint Coating
This is the industry standard for achieving a “velvet” feel on rigid containers. It involves a secondary spray process applicable to PET, ABS, and Aluminum.
The UV Curing Process
We apply a two-component polyurethane-based lacquer in our dust-free spray line. The bottle is then UV-cured to cross-link the polymer chains. This creates a coating thickness of 25-35 microns that is bonded chemically to the substrate.
Ideal Application: Luxury compacts, lipstick tubes, and rigid lotion bottles.

Technology II: In-Mold Softness
For brands avoiding secondary coatings (for cost or recycling reasons), we use material science to achieve the effect.
Soft-Touch PE (Co-Ex)
We use multi-layer Co-Extrusion blow molding. The outer layer is a specialized “Soft-Touch Resin” (blend of PE and TPE), giving the bottle a grippy, waxy feel without any spray.
Silicone (Natural Softness)
Notre Silicone Series requires no coating. The material itself is soft. We sandblast the steel mold to VDI 3400 standards (texture grade), resulting in a dry, powdery finish that mimics skin.

Choosing Your Finish
Select the right technology based on your budget, haptic goal, and sustainability targets.
| Technology | Tactile Feel | Durabilité | Recyclabilité | Coût |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rubber Paint (Spray) | Velvet / Warm | Medium (Can scratch) | Low (Mixed material) | $$ (Secondary process) |
| Soft-Touch PE | Grippy / Waxy | High (Permanent) | High (Standard stream) | $ (Efficient) |
| Molded Silicone | Skin-like / Powder | Extreme (Heat/Cold) | Specialized | $$$ (Material cost) |
| In-Mold Matte | Dry / Sanded | High (Permanent) | High (Mono-material) | $ (No extra cost) |
Testing Adhesion & Durability
A soft-touch coating is useless if it peels. We subject every batch to rigorous “Torture Tests” before shipping.
- Cross-Cut Test (ISO 2409): We cut a grid into the coating and apply standardized tape. A Class 0 result means zero peeling.
- Alcohol Rub Test: 50 cycles of rubbing with 95% Ethanol to ensure the finish survives contact with perfume or sanitizer.
- Environment Chamber: Stored at 45°C and 90% humidity for 72 hours to prevent “tackiness” (stickiness) over time.
ISO Certified Lab
We verify every coating batch.
